We can contribute to the design of an energy management system, assist contractors with the installation of the provided technology and implement the provided software components. ===== Opportunities for collaboration===== We are used to work with contractors, engineerings companies and end-users. A succesful partnership could lead to new customers. ===== Description of idea===== <WRAP box right minwidth:33%> <userpoll Rating> + ****** + **** + ** </userpoll> <WRAP centeralign> Please rate this idea! \\ Click on **Vote and view** to see the results. </WRAP> </WRAP> CimPro's technology very well integrates with existing systems. So there is often no need to replace the installed systems. We futhermore enhance the system by adding new meters, dataloggers, interface to building management systems and add a state-of-the-art energy management system. Our energy management systems works different than existing systems. Instead of producing enless reports we identfy and focus on problem area's. The systems detects errors in equiment and deviations in the energy consumption. We can tell when a problem takes places, for how long and what the associated cost involved. ^ Illustrating file|{{public:outline_proposals:subdata:proposals:illustrations:8-q24-skyspark_intro.pdf?400&direct|SkySpark Intro.pdf}}| ^ Type of idea|combination of product and service| ^ Category of idea|technical; design| ^ Enabling conditions|To create rules in our systems it is neccessary to collect data over a couple a months. We than implement the SkySpark rules with the knowlegde of the contractors and building operators which understand the behavior of the technical building installations and processes in the buildings.| ===== Stage of development===== Proven innovation: it has been used in practice on a small scale. ===== Substantiation stage of development===== At the beginning of 2012 we announced that SkySpark had achieved a major milestone being deployed in over 100 million square feet of building stock. As we enter 2013 we are excited to announce that SkySpark has passed the 225 million square foot mark with over 4000 sites now using SkySpark analytics. The combination of SkySpark's advanced analytics technology, combined with the expertise and commitment of our worldwide network of partners, continues to deliver outstanding results, helping owners and operators of facilities identify operational issues, energy waste and opportunities for savings. ===== Provability contribution to sustainability===== Proven contribution to sustainability; this has been shown in practice. ===== Step in the right direction===== Energie management is a ongoing effort. It never stops. It can always be improved. And also the enviroment changes. The ony way the be succesfull it adress they changes and responds to these changes. ===== Flexible idea===== The systems is designed to reduce energy consumption. The enviroment effects of using the systems are negletable compared to the savings. ===== Good investment===== The U.S. General Services Administration awarded a contract to develop and install advanced smart building technology in 50 of the federal government’s highest energy-consuming buildings. Part of GSA’s larger smart building strategy, this initiative will connect building management systems to a central cloud based platform, improving efficiency and saving up to $15 million in taxpayer dollars annually. Commercial buildings account for nearly 40% of the United State’s primary energy use and GSA owns nearly 182 million square feet of office space nationwide. GSA's plan to meet the requirements of President Obama’s Executive Order 13514 includes a goal of reducing energy consumption in federal buildings by 30% by 2015. {{tag>public:outline_proposals:subdata:tags:all "public:outline_proposals:subdata:tags:scope":"energy" "public:outline_proposals:subdata:tags:scope":"facility management" "public:outline_proposals:subdata:tags:scope":"installations" "public:outline_proposals:subdata:tags:stage of development":"proven innovation" "public:outline_proposals:subdata:tags:contribution to sustainability":"proven contribution"}}
